The Lunar Month of

Relinquishment for Attainment
Redefining Logistics
Lunar Planner Synopsis
This New Moon occurs on the cusp of sidereal Aries, and conjoins Acamar of Eridanus, one of several stopping points along the river of life; Al Kurah, the heart of King Cepheus; the stars forming the eastern or ascending fish of Pisces; and the Quasar 3C57 in the belly of ole' Cetus, the technobureaucratic monster of collective human consciousness. The theme of these stars, in part, motivate a desire to move forward, to attain, but to do so we must first release any residual emotional baggage or bring to completion any limiting patterns of the past.
Mercury begins and completes its retrograde in this lunar cycle, generally providing an opportunity to re-define logistics in our lives, to renegotiate, and to form new plans and strategies. Earth and Mercury begin a new 116-day (synodic) cycle in the midst of Mercury's retrograde, on the Full Moon. The new Earth-Mercury cycle's theme is defined by the stars of mid-sidereal Libra, including the stars of the Southern Cross and the Centaurus-A galaxy, a deep reflective pool of consciousness. Mars is playing a key role in the progressive acceleration for 2010, motivating clarity and integrity applied in dynamic action.
Most significantly, Saturn and Uranus make the fourth of their five oppositions just before the Full Moon of this lunar cycle. Thus we will feel another catalytic squeeze as they approach this opposition. This event also marks entry into a very dynamic and transitional four-month period occurring in 2010. Saturn, Uranus and Makemake (pronounced MAH-keh MAH-keh) (one of our newly discovered and very significant planets) have been playing a significant role in the ongoing global financial restructuring. Uranus began its opposition to Saturn (and Makemake) on November 4, 2008. Saturn will soon move out of its prominent role in our current timeline as mobilizing and expansive Jupiter takes over and begins its several month conjunction with Uranus, which begins in the following lunar cycle. The shift in emphasis from Saturn to Jupiter will catalyze a massive transition in this few year timeline; and a potent grand Jupiter-Pluto-Saturn T-square, occurring in July and August, will hallmark the climax of this transition. Makemake will continue to play a prominent role along with Jupiter and Uranus through early 2011.
These are just a few of many events occurring in this lunar cycle. The Monthly Lunar Planner explores the details of these events and more, based in star-level astronomical astrology and synodic astrology.
