You have probably heard the song lyric - "One is the loneliest
number you will ever know?" However is this really true?
According to numerology there may actually be something to this as
the 1 is a Life Path number that seems to be fated to shoulder the
burdens of fate all by him or herself. It is considered to be a
mundane number that is considered with the execution of every day
chores and very practical things. This means being with a 1 is not
that romantic because there is always "something to get done."
Life demands a lot from a number 1 and the number 1 in turn demands
a lot from other people. This can lead to some isolation simply
because most people like to have more fun in life. However a 1
considers working a lot to be a great deal of fun. There is no
other number that can mix business with pleasure as well as this
one. They rarely do anything without a business motivation in mind.
Even their vacations usually have to do something with social
climbing or scouting for business opportunities.
The busy schedule of a 1 also often leaves their partners feeling
secluded and lonely. It takes a very strong person to be with a 1
and few of them exist. Often the 1 is like a politician or is an
actual politician that needs a partner that focuses on him or her
exclusively. Unfortunately that means that they attract a number
like a 2, 9 or 11. These numbers tend to focus more on other people
than themselves. Unfortunately the 1 ends up alone after teaching
the 2, 9, and 11 a karmic lesson about learning to love themselves
more in life.
Often a 1 ends up lonely because the Life Path Number also means
standing up for your beliefs despite the fact that everyone else is
against you. It is the number of the noble martyr who stand up for
what is right in life. It is the number of a great leader who is so
self assured and innovative that their ideas often seem radical to
others. Many ones have notions that are far ahead of their time and
often they stand alone - like a David against a huge Goliath of
public objection.
A similar number is the 8. An 8 can be a lonely number simply
because they are so busy being pillars of the community that they
do not have time for family or lovers. Instead many of them are
busy building empires.
The timing in the life of an 8 is also similar to that of a 1. They
are often slave to economics and as they tend to employ or take
care of a lot of other people. Their lives are ruled by deadlines
and practical matters.
The 8 can end up lonely because the partner soon realizes that this
number is public property. Yet another problem is that the 8 is
always in the spotlight.
Anyone with a Life Path number 3 can also feel incredibly at times
in their life. This is the number of fame and it is the penultimate
number when it comes to being a living illustration of that old
saying "It's lonely at the top."
A number like 3 can draw a lot of attention yet find nobody that
they can identify with personally. That is because many of them are
phenonomenal talents that rocket to the top. This means that many
of them are used for their connections and money and are rarely
loved for who they really are.
It also does not help that the number 3 stands for the "odd man
out" in a love triangle and end up spending holidays all by
themselves. The Life Path number 3 is notorious for being unable to
settle down. Many of them are so attractive that they also attract
infidelity. They become a "score" and are often not treated like
human beings that way.
Yet another "lonely number" is the number 5. This is because the 5
is fiercely dedicated to his or her own individual independence and
the right to exercise free will. Anyone who interferes with this
number's whims is likely to be viewed as an obstruction by this
number.
The number 5 also likes to travel a great deal and loves being on
the road. During these extended periods of travel the 5 will often
have a series of lovers rather than just one.
Yet another quirk of the number 5 Life Path number is the constant
desire to be alone. This number is very much torn between their
love of solitude and their love of other people. Of all the numbers
the number 5 also sometimes displays an exaggerated need for
privacy.
The number 4 can also be a lonely Life Path number. Usually this
number has a very hard childhood and because of poverty and
societal discretions does not make friends easily. This number
usually has to struggle with some kind of big problem in their life
and usually it has to do with a chronic health problem or addiction
that also prevents them from meeting other people and forming
relationships. This is not absolutely true of every number 4 as
many of them are also quite adept at transcending every single
challenge to become quite beloved by many. Oprah Winfrey is an
excellent example of a number 4 energy that has triumphed over a
number of setbacks in life to become one of the richest and most
famous people in the world.
The number 7 is not necessarily a lonely number so much as a number
that likes to be left alone. Many of the number 7s are eccentric
geniuses and prodigious talents that find people in general to get
in the way of their big vision. Sometimes a 7 finally notices that
they have failed to attract a partner in life but usually the
contribution that they make to society in the form of an invention
or piece of literature far outweighs the importance of their
personal life.
So the next time you hear that 1 is the loneliest of numbers think
again! It is not necessarily true!

Jacob and Esau,By Karen Berg
This week's Bible reading tells us that Jacob feared his brother, Esau. Now this fear might come as a surprise to some of us who know how powerful a spiritual force Jacob would become. After all, don't we know that Light prevails over darkness?
According to the kabbalists, there is an important secret here: Esau was the epitome of ego. It was not his physical brother that Jacob was afraid of; Jacob was afraid of his own ego. Even at his elevated spiritual level, Jacob knew that if he began to believe himself to be the message rather than the messenger, to be the Light rather than a conduit, then he would lose the battle against the ultimate destructive force: The ego, also known as the Opponent, also known as the Desire to Receive for the Self Alone, which is the real battle, the battle of consciousness. For Jacob, it was clear that his only real strength was his ability to be a channel for the Light of the Creator.
For us, this is a powerful lesson. It tells us that each one of us should cultivate a similar fear of our own ego every day. We need to learn that it is not how hard we work physically or the intensity of our learning that makes us spiritual. Spirituality happens from the moment we wake up in the morning, to the hello we say to the first person that we meet, to the way that we approach and see life, to the respect for human dignity that we grant to those around us. This is the kind of spirituality that Jacob worried about. He was afraid he wouldn't be present when he was needed, and therefore he would lose the battle.
This story reminds us that we always need to be on the lookout for what our Ego wants us to do, so that we aren't cutting corners, hoping no one will see. Because you know what? The Creator is in every place. He even goes to the Chinese restaurant on Sunday. Again, the Creator is in every place. God is here.
We need to know that whatever we do or don't do, today, tomorrow or the next day, is going to come back to us. If we can acknowledge and be aware of that, as Jacob was, then we can grow. In that growth might be pain, and in that growth might be disassociation with what is comfortable. But if we don't grow, there is no alternative.
As we have mentioned before, there is only one block in every person's life. And what is this block? The block is the person him- or herself! I am the only blockage in my life, just as you are the only blockage in yours. When we can sit here and not think only about our own needs and agendas then can we begin to taste the sweetness of our soul's potential.

Numerology and the Tarot,Blair Gorman
One of the oldest applications of numerology has to do with the
design of Tarot card. The numbers on Tarot cards are enormously
significant when it comes to interpreting the meaning of a card
reading. Tarot cards are specifically numbered and the images on
the cards reverberate to those images to convey meaning to the
reader who then analyzes such matters as relationships, the future,
motivations and options.
Traditionally there are 56 minor arcana cards -- the Ace through
Ten, plus the four Helper Cards. Many tarot readers maintain that
56 was a number chosen on purpose as esoterically it symbolizes God
(or the force of the creation principle.) This idea comes from
pagan and Celtic beliefs that the number 56 corresponded to the
Celtic sun God.
The reason there are fourteen minor Arcana cards is because this
Celtic Sun God also had fourteen rays of light shooting out from
his head in the four directions. This is also where the common
card layout known as the Celtic Cross comes from. The fourteen
cards consist of the cards Ace through to Ten plus the Four Helper
Cards also known as the King, Queen, Knight and Page.
Each number in each suit has historically represented a particular aspect
of human consciousness or experience. In each of the Element suits,
the Ones contain many of the same properties; the Twos are similar,
as are the Threes, and so on through the rest of the deck. The
Minor Arcana does not usually have imagery so the reader relies a
lot on knowing about numerology to make relationships between the
cards in a spread.
When the science of numerology is applied to the tarot cards, the
number, which governs the card, gives deeper insight into the
hidden meaning of the card.
The relationship of numerology is actually an enormous topic in
itself but here is an idea of how the Tarot Cards in the minor
Arcana relate to the numbers One through to Nine. The meanings
stay basically the same no matter what suit the cards are in -
Cups, Swords, Wands or Coins.
Below is the key words that are traditionally used by Tarot card
readers to read a card when it comes up in a spread. This
particular list is adapted from the well known universal meanings
for numbered cards from the Rider-Waite Tarot Deck.
One: Creation, originality, independence, courage, progress,
ambition, positiveness, will power, leadership, pioneering,
activity, force, raw energy.
Two: Love, service, gentleness, harmony, adaptability, charm,
diplomacy, friendliness, rhythm, music, receptivity, cooperation,
consideration for others, will, purpose, initial understanding.
Three: Artistic expression, joy of living, freedom from worry,
optimism, inspiration, talent, imagination, good taste,
sociability, friendliness, kindness, conception, beginning
manifestation.
Four: Practicality, service, patience, exactitude, organization,
application, devotion, patriotism, conservatism, pragmatism,
dignity, economy, trust, worthiness, endurance, loyalty,
production, mastery.
Five: Freedom, progress, versatility, understanding, variety,
adaptability, mental curiosity, life experience, cleverness,
non-attachment, sociability, change, discord, travel, adventure,
companionability, surrender, release.
Six: Love, harmony, home, responsibility, adjustment, musical
talent, sympathy, understanding, domesticity, guardianship,
stability, poise, protection, healing, firmness, balance, idealism,
conscientiousness, justice, burden-fearing, service to All,
solution, exaltation, seeing.
Seven: Mental analysis, technicality, introspection, peace, poise,
scientific research, spirituality, faith, trust, stoicism,
refinement, wisdom, silence, "theories and fundamentals," feeling,
deepening, mystery.
Eight: Power, authority, success, material freedom, judgment,
discrimination, executive ability, organization, leadership,
management, practicality, thoroughness, dependability,
self-reliance, control, the power to succeed, repose,
consideration, retreat, ripening.
Nine: Universal love, sisterhood, brotherhood, charity, compassion,
the Higher Law, artistic genius, selfless service, philanthropy,
humanitarianism, magnetism, sympathy, understanding, romance,
generosity, breadth of viewpoint, understanding before or beyond
words, strengthening.
What is quite interesting is that you can also use these values to
numerologically get a reading from a deck of plain tarot cards.

Partial Solar Eclipse Antarctica
Partial Solar Eclipse antarctica
An eclipse is a physical event behind which there lies a significant spiritual reality. - Rudolph Steiner, 'Eclipses'
On Friday 25 November 2011, we will have a New Moon Partial Solar Eclipse (PSE) at 1:10am EST (10:16pm PST on the 24th) in the early degrees of Sagittarius.
Eclipses always occur in pairs (sometimes they show up as triplets, which we experienced this past summer). The bookend eclipse for Friday's event will occur on 10 December 2011 - and it will be a TOTAL Lunar Eclipse. Total eclipses are more powerful than partial eclipses, and as this eclipse is not particularly potent, but each eclipse does have impact. A New Moon Partial Solar Eclipse is more than just a 'normal' New Moon.
This eclipse is a North Node eclipse, meaning that it has a more futuristic feel to it, visionary in its essence, an overtone of thinking about our collective destiny, of the possibilities, not of the past.
This eclipse belongs to the Saros 123 family and occurs primarily over the frozen land of Antarctica (barely visible in the extreme south of Africa and Tasmania). It's what we might call a Penguin Eclipse as it will most likely not be seen by human eye. Saros 123 began on 29 April 1074 and will end on 31 May 2318. This series began at the top of earth, over the North Pole, and is winding its way down toward the bottom of earth, Antarctica. All eclipses do this and so Saros 123 is in its last leg of the journey, but still miles to go before it sleeps. (I.e. Unlike the previous Partial Solar Eclipse of June 1, 2011 which was at the very end of its cycle. Interestingly, the Partial Solar Eclipse on July 1, 2011 was the very BEGINNING of a Saros family, the very first eclipse of that cycle. My previous newsletter has more info on these eclipses: http://conta.cc/jQ8kD3)
It's good to get a feel for what any eclipse *looks* like so that we can tune into it energetically. Click here for a view of the eclipse pathway: http://www.shadowandsubstance.com/
For even greater perspective, watch what the eclipse will look like on Antarctica, and from several vantage points (including from the moon and from the sun) at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2A77XU-jtg&feature=uploademail
To see the movement of this eclipse family from the top of earth to its current position at the bottom (Antarctica) click here: http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/SEsarosanimate/123.gif
For a reference point in time and space on this eclipse: the most recent eclipses that occurred at this astrological degree were on 25 May 1994, and 23 November 2003. Think back to those times for clues as to the possible themes of this eclipse in your life.
One more note on the Antarctica location of this eclipse (as well as of the June 1, 2011 eclipse earlier this year). Many have said that the lost continent of Atlantis is buried beneath Antarctica. If you think that Atlantis is nothing but a New Age fantasy, think again and please do read Barbara Hand Clow's new book, "Awakening the Planetary Mind" (a revised edition of her previous book, "Catastrophobia") She proves (yes I said PROVES) the existence of Atlantis using the archeological research of New Paradigm Scientists, who are amassing mounting evidence that indeed there was a pre-diluvian civilization. Hand-Clow makes the connection between the awakening currently struggling to emerge on our planet and the fact that the true story of our origins has been suppressed - disempowering us. She states that we need to fully remember the true story of our past in order to make the leap now. This is a very interesting book that will change the way you look at the world. As this Antarctica eclipse occurs, we might want to tune in to the energy that we sense there, the quiet deep secrets that may lie under the ice.
Sagittarius Dreaming
global brain storm
In your hypnotized state, you have as a society given your free will consent to the state your planet is in today. You saturate your minds with the unhealthy dishes served up for you on your televisions that you are addicted to; violence, pornography, greed, hatred, selfishness, incessant bad news, fear and "terror". When was the last time you stopped to think of something beautiful and pure? The planet is the way it is because of your collective thoughts about it. You are complicit in your inaction every time you look the other way when you see an injustice. Your thought, projected at the sub-conscious level of creation to the Creator, is your allowance of these things to occur. - Anonymous
Eclipses bring change to a certain part of everyone's life, some eclipses being more significant personally than others. But all of us can work with the energy of this eclipsed moon. To begin with: dream your dream of THE GOOD you want to create in your life. THINK BIG and THINK POSITIVE and don't worry about the *how* yet. The sky is the limit, aim your arrow high, and ask the question What If. Sandcastles in the air will surely have to be made practical and earthy (which is part of the downside of Sagittarius btw - the failure to make the dream real) but for now focus your thoughts on something ideal, beautiful and pure.
This eclipse has an extra dose of Sagittarian energy - not only are the Sun and Moon in Sag but Mercury and Venus are as well. All of this Sagittarian energy gives the eclipse a buoyancy and perhaps takes some of the sting out of typical eclips-ian effects. But the Sagittarian vibe is challenged by the need for detailed assertiveness to be used in the service of healing old wounds. What is dreamt of now could be supported by sudden changes for the better, possibly jolts into action. This is helped along by the North Node nature of this eclipse - pointing toward a vision of how things could be if we dream the Sagittarian dream.
This Sagittarius Eclipse can be best utilized on a global level by brainstorming solutions for the problems that face us. The Occupy Wall Street movement has raised important questions and concerns about how the global financial game is played and who benefits from it, in addition to other inequalities needing to be addressed. One of the flaws in the Occupy movement seems to be the lack of detailed 'demands' (Mars in Virgo) by the occupiers as to the changes they would like to see. Without specifics and without a unified statement, the movement can't make a true impact in the world.
This is where you come in. Under this Sagittarius Eclipse, get clear on what YOU think should be done, what YOU think should be changed, including ideas of what the new and more positive scenario might look like. It doesn't matter if you are an expert on the subjects at hand, or if you think your ideas seem too far-fetched; what matters is that we all contribute a storm to the genius of the Global Brain that can solve any problem if unified. Hopefully at some point, there will be a real repository for these ideas so that they can be factored into new pathways in a cohesive way. Capricorn and Aquarius will have to figure all of that out for us.
Futuristic ideas are encouraged under this moon/eclipse, as long as we keep in mind that it takes time to work out very advanced ideas in real time on earth. The Grand Earth Trine - discussed in the next section - helps with this. But right now we are seeding the dreams. Like Jack and the Beanstalk we can plant magic ideas that may one day grow into mighty cultural changes.
If you would hit the mark, you must aim a little above it; Every arrow that flies feels the attraction of earth. - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Elegiac Verse
Black Friday
banks became cathedrals
Keep awake! And the peace of a peppermint mocha and the grace of our Starbucks will be with you always, for the coffee shop will remain open all night to fuel the delirium of fevered consumerism. Keep awake! For you know both the day and the hour when the master of American consumerism will return. Keep awake! For Black Friday now begins on Thursday. http://on.fb.me/vTfBJb
This eclipse happens to occur on that consumer high-holiday known as Black Friday. One might ask this question: what would you like to see eclipsed on this Black Friday 2011? Perhaps you are dreaming of a day when corporations honor the earth and are conscious of how their profit-based initiatives affect humanity. Perhaps you visualize a time when these corporations eclipse the corrupt ones that we see so often today. Perhaps you might want to take action toward this dream by shopping locally in order to support your community - speaking with your dollars to eclipse what no longer serves. There are many ways to change the world.
There is a large triangle in the chart for this eclipse, 3 planets in a harmonious relationship with each other. (Astrologers call this a Grand Trine.) This trine occurs in the 3 earth signs: Jupiter is in Taurus, Pluto is in Capricorn, Mars is in Virgo. The earthiness of this configuration is a nice addition to the chart, providing some groundedness to the free-wheeling Sagittarian energy as described above. But earth signs can also be stubborn and entrenched, unyielding, critical and materialistic - which is something we are seeing globally as people cry out for freedom and are in a tug-of-war with entrenched power systems.
In the New York City chart - a place where this tug-of-war is being played out dramatically - this large triangle is pointing downward and anchoring itself in a very, very strong Pluto in Capricorn which is EXACT on the bottom of the chart. The power of this eclipse lies deeply dormant out of view in the underbelly of things. Solar Eclipses are always New Moons and new moons don't have light, they are the seed points, the dark fertile time at the beginning of a cycle. The power moving underfoot here will emerge later in some form. We can look to the Total Lunar Eclipse (Dec 10) and the December Solstice (Dec 22) for clues as to how this power might manifest (which we will do in future newsletters). Suffice it to say, something potent is brewing here. All of that fiery Sagittarian energy is anchored by this Earth triangle - for better or worse.
In your own personal life, take note that what you dream of now will be planted deeply and will have powerful energy in its manifestation. And it's a good idea to get grounded as you walk through Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and this New Moon/Partial Solar Eclipse. Connection with earth while daydreaming is always a good thing. And also include your gratitude list in with your eclipse musings. Tis the season, and what you are grateful for can be a powerful springboard and magnet for what you want to create with the power roiling and boiling deep inside.
One final note re the Grand Earth Trine. Using the New York City chart: If you picture this triangle encircling the earth with the planets Mars and Jupiter above the northern hemisphere, and the planet(oid) Pluto beneath the southern hemisphere - we can see that the triangle points to..... Antarctica.... with Pluto hovering at that point at the bottom of the earth. Something lies deeply hidden, both in our psyches, in our culture and in Humanity.
"Only one warm-blooded animal remains on the Antarctic continent during the bitter winter - the emperor penguin. Emperor penguin females lay one egg in June and leave to spend the winter at sea. The male penguins stay on land all winter, surviving the most extreme conditions for nine weeks (including no food!), keeping their one egg warm by balancing it on their feet and covering it with a flap of abdominal skin." Like this heroic penguin we too are nourishing new potential at our feet and at the feet of the world. Happy Feet? :) the Mercury Retrograde
reversal
The Declaration of Independence was agreed to with Mercury retrograde. Formalizing an agreement while Mercury is retrograde is typically interpreted as implying that there are factors that have not been adequately thought through or may be somehow hidden. (This has had effect) on the development of political structures, national parties, law, and even the changing meaning of the seminal phrase "all men are created equal." - Matthew Carnicelli
Mercury goes retrograde (appearing to move backward in the sky from our vantage point on earth) three to four times per calendar year. Mercury will go retrograde in two days - on Thursday November 24th at 2:21am EDT (11:21pm EDT on the 23rd). It will go direct again on December 13th.
Many are aware of the effects of Mercury Retrograde - miscommunications, travel difficulties, things breaking down. And many know that it is a risk to sign contracts when Mercury is Retrograde. The reason for this is that important details and information that you wish you had known will most likely become apparent *after* Mercury goes direct a few weeks later. With Mercury Retrograde you can obviously do whatever you want (like create the Declaration of Independence for instance;) but you have to do your homework and make sure you are very aware of all important information before you proceed.
The deeper meaning of Mercury Retrograde is to take time to slow down and review, redo, revise, revisit, reorganize, restructure (and any other RE word you can think of). This is a time to pull back from full-steam-ahead activity and take some time to integrate all that you've been doing and thinking. It's a good time to pause and reflect. [Note: although I cannot find the source for this statement, I want to share it anyway. If you have info on this, please let me know: The Mercury Retrograde period is in the same ratio to the forward-moving-Mercury period as REM sleep is to the Non-REM sleep period.]
The standstill points (when Mercury appears to stand still in the sky as it reverses into the opposite direction) are of particular import because, astrologically, any planet standing still exerts more influence. This current Mercury standstill occurs on November 24 - i.e. on Thanksgiving in the U.S. Thanksgiving travel plans could be dicey due to weather and other snafus. All we can do is go with the flow, since we will be doing the dance anyway. Take a lot of patience with you when you go and be careful!. (For instance as I write this, the news is reporting that a form of TAR was spilled by a truck onto the Pennsylvania Turnpike, covering car wheels and causing accidents as if the cars were driving on black ice. No serious accidents, thank goodness. But how bizarre is that?)
In addition, purchases you make this weekend - the biggest consumer spending weekend of the year - will need some extra scrutiny. Keep your receipts just in case. Or wait until after Mercury goes Direct on December 13 to make major purchases.
The most important aspect of the current Mercury standstill occurs within the aura of the New Moon Eclipse. Take note of how the Occupy Wall Street movement is having to re-group, re-view and re-consider its strategy - this is a Mercury Retrograde phenomenon. This will be taking place in your life as well. It's a time of reversals, which may later be reversed again. When dealing with Mercury Retrograde, the phrase "go with the flow" is always applicable.
My sense about this particular happenstance of Mercury Retrograde and a New Moon Eclipse is that we are looking over our shoulder at our former selves and the old ways, wondering how our choices brought us to this point and how we can change course. I believe that this 'looking back' is more global than most Mercury Retrograde periods because the evolutionary Mayan Calendar just ended on October 28th. More will be revealed concerning this review process when we experience a Total Lunar Eclipse on December 10, just days before Mercury goes direct.

Bob Proctor on Resistance
I have a piece of literature I love - It was written by the late William Penn Patrick in approximately 1970. Enjoy.
"No person, ideal or institution becomes great until Great Resistance has been encountered. Greatness cannot be achieved until this concept is understood.
Unfortunately, the average person is ignorant of this rule to achievement. Mr. and Miss Average, in their ignorance, are fearful and reluctant to encounter even slight resistance. They don't want to make waves or be criticized and they incorrectly feel that criticism will hold them back and prevent their happiness from being realized. In truth, the opposite is the case.
Take note: when we begin to change our jobs, we are first given resistance by our loved ones, for they fear change because change means facing the unknown! When we begin to make rapid achievement or commitment to rapid progress, we have road blocks thrown up by our friends and relations. They begin to resist by negative comments and actions which are devices to cause you to maintain the 'status quo'.
Now, if you are to achieve great progress, you must prevail against those closest to you; this is difficult and requires courage because you desire to please and not hurt those you love. The truth is that great harm befalls your loved ones when you fail to be yourself and do your thing. This is so, because you lose your enthusiasm for life, your growth process stops and your self-esteem diminishes.
Those negatives are revered when you stand your ground; and when you have prevailed, your loved ones gain a new and higher respect for you. History records countless events which prove the point. For an example, the greatest of all men overcame the most severe form of resistance and in so doing gave birth to Christianity. Had Jesus Christ run from His opposition, we would not know His name today, nor would we have available for our use those great and wonderful truths He brought forth for us so that humanity could find their individual greatness.
Furthermore, Christianity met "its" greatest resistance in Rome. Thousands of Christians were crucified in Rome. This resistance was met and in so doing, gave life to the force of Christianity, and Rome became the center of all Christianity - now, and for the past 1700 years, Rome has remained the very center of the Christian world.
Let these great lessons of the past stay in our mind as a beacon in our personal and corporate future. Let us understand and be grateful that our ideas have proven worthy of tremendous resistance. Today, all over the world, great forces have risen to resist our growth. These forces fear us for what we represent and they are attempting to destroy us and our dreams. Our understanding of this phenomenon and our strength of character and our commitment to our way of life is prevailing over these forces which have risen up. We are fortunate to have such great resistance. This resistance is evidence of our greatness and it provides us with the energy to prevail, to conquer and to dominate. These next few short years will record a brilliant history and establish a permanent place for our way of life - which is Freedom to be and to work out our dreams for a great world, for ourselves, for children and all humankind.
Understand our battle and be glorified that you are a part of the making of history. The work you do today in the defense of our way will provide new freedom and hope for millions yet to come. Stand tall in the face of our enemy...your resolution and commitment will seize his heart with fear and he will fade into oblivion. AND THAT IS THE LAW OF LIFE."
To your success,
Bob Proctor

Procrastination: 7 Signs & How To Fight Them
Procrastination: 7 Signs & How To Fight Them
We all do it to some degree or another; put off for tomorrow what we know should be done today.
Postpone the inevitable pain for the current moment of pleasure.
But we know that even if we can manage to put it out of our minds for the present, it will eventually come around and bite us on the butt and disturb our external calm demeanor.
Below are some of the symptoms of a Procrastinator and several remedies to try:
1. Lack of Vision
Not having a clear vision for the future is one of the biggest reasons people procrastinate. If you can't see the benefits of completing certain tasks why would you bother starting them?
Remedy: Have a clear picture of all that needs to be achieved and the reasons why. You are much more likely to be motivated to get going and get things done.
2. Lack of Time
Lack of time is the most popular excuse bandied about for not getting things done. But fortunately there are very few people in this world that don't have the scope for becoming at least 10% more efficient.
Being busy doesn't equate to being efficient. Regularly when someone lacks time in their lives, it is due to poor organizational skills, poor prioritization or the inability to say no.
Remedy: Learn to become more efficient with your time. This can free up many hours a week to get the more important stuff done.
3. Lack of Organization
The infamous words of Peter Druker say it clearly: "Fail to Plan and Plan to Fail". If you are disorganized and don't keep a schedule you are likely to forget tasks and miss deadlines.
Remedy: Keeping a schedule will help you to track all the chores you have to do and ensure that vital tasks aren't forgotten.
4. Tiredness
Some will use the excuse of being too tired to get started. Many people delay and procrastinate on their home duties because they are too tired when they get home from work.
Remedy: Find out the reason for your tiredness. Are you eating right? Are you exercising? Not getting enough sleep? Find your reason and try to remedy it by changing your ways.
5. Fear
Fear of the outcome can be another delaying factor. Some people fear failure; they won't be able to do the task to a good enough standard so they delay in getting started. Others -- believe it or not -- fear success. They may think that by completing a certain task, the outcome may lead them places they are unsure they want to go.
Remedy: Become clear about the consequences of completing or not completing a task.
"Clarity brings Power." - Anthony Robins
6. Easily distracted
In the modern age we are bombarded with technology and external stimulation that makes it difficult to stay focused.
Remedy: Turn off email notifications and only check emails at allocated times during your day. Switch off your phone and allow messages to go to voicemail. Close your office door and let people know you are not to be disturbed. Remember to stay in control of your technology and not let it control you.
7. Feeling Overwhelmed
Some tasks at hand can make us feel overwhelmed, mostly because we don't know how to get started.
Remedy: Break tasks down into bite sized chunks. Then break them down even more. Plan each part of the task so that you are focusing on completing the sub-task rather than the overall task. This helps to feel in control and not overwhelmed. Zoom in and zoom out every now and again to make sure you are moving forward with the overall plan.
But the best and simplest advice is to make a start on any important task. No matter how small or how insignificant in the bigger picture, just get moving.
In keeping with the laws of physics -- "An object in motion tends to stay in motion" -- you can start to get rid of procrastination simply by moving forward.

"The Power of Sillence!"By Amir Zoghi
“Often, to say nothing is more powerful than having to say something”
— Amir Zoghi —
Say what you will Joseph but what is the point if what you’re saying is not for those that you’re trying to share your message with? Give your message to those who seek it, share yourself with the ones that are open to receiving you. If you are finding that you need to prove what you have to say and that you ‘need’ to say it rather than are inspired to say it, it may be wise for you not to say anything at all.

"The Flesh is Weak but the Spirit is Willing!"By Shamala Tan
Article Of The Week - When The Flesh Is Weak
Does this statement make sense to you: "The mind is willing but the flesh is weak"?
I tend to think that if your mind is willing, your body will obey your mind to get into action. Unless of course, you were just entertaining the idea of getting the task/s done and you were just really living in an illusion that your mind was willing.
As a small business owner or a solo-entrepreneur, discipline is such an important aspect of your daily exercise as you do not have a boss to be accountable to. You are only accountable to yourself. And if you lack the discipline to run your business effectively, then it will show in your business bank account. No one else is to blame. Nothing else is responsible -- not the economy, not your potential clients/customers, not Wall Street, not your geographical location (Unless of course you were trying to sell umbrellas in the desert!).
So what does it mean when you are just so overcome by inertia that you just can't wake up for the 7am breakfast business meeting? Then you are probably not cut out to run your own business and you are in fact better off being a salaried person. It is a matter of commitment.
Running your own business is a path of learning with many initiations to pass including: staying focused when the going get tough; having a marketing plan; knowing your ideal clients; money management; developing self and never stopping the learning process; and most of all exercising discipline in mind, body and soul in the use of time, energy and money.
Many solo entrepreneurs I know think, what is the point of having discipline when the whole idea about running your own business is doing whatever you feel like at whatever time is most convenient? If you think the same way, then you are not an entrepreneur. You are a free-lancer, hoping to earn some money to pay the rent and feed yourself, full stop. Even the whole idea about wanting to serve and changing the world is based on the false notion that the world has to revolve around your loose plans and unreliable schedule. I know how these 'entrepreneurs' think because I used to be one of them many years ago.
If your business is barely making it, you do not have a business. You have a burden. And if your business is not growing, there is a high chance you are not growing as a person either.
The truth is no willing mind can ever be beaten by the weak flesh.

Sun Moves into Scorpio!By DK
Alright. The Sun in Scorpio, as it will be moving very soon here, is a time period that I‘d say warrants some preparation. Always it can be kind of intensive but we’re dealing with a lot of things. So one of which being old issues from the past or old possessions that you’re holding on to, it might be time to get rid of them. For sure, old emotions, especially so resentment, anger, and fears. Send them away. Give them a good burial of some sort; don’t let them continue to linger.
Get the clean up work done before the Sun moves into Scorpio if you can at all. Then we’re also dealing with a lot of death transit and Scorpio is the one that kind of likes to flirt with that death drama a bit.
Also seeing a lot of fiery tempers and things of that nature coming to the surface so keep working on your own inner peace. Be careful about the company you keep and where you go at certain times of the day.
If you are in an aggravated mood yourself, just stop that task, do something else or take a five minute break to sing a happy song or a one minute break to sing a happy song and then come back to it. So do little things that keep shifting your consciousness into a positive direction.
If something isn’t going right, generally speaking at this point in time, it’s better to leave it, come back to it later than try to power through it and make it work right. That can be even stepping away from a conversation and coming back to it. It can be stop trying to change the oil and come back later when you’ve had a sandwich and you feel a little bit better. That sort of thing.
So tempers can get too violent right now during this time period. Do watch out for that. So this Sun in Scorpio, it’ll either be wounding or it’ll be healing. It’s going to go from one polarity to the other. I would suggest that you choose healing.
Alright. Thank you and my love to you,

~ Sutta Nipata
May all Beings Be filled with Joy and Happiness
May all beings be filled with joy and peace.
May all beings everywhere,
The strong and the weak,
The great and the small,
The mean and the powerful,
The short and the long,
The subtle and the gross:
May all beings everywhere, Seen and unseen, Dwelling far off or nearby,
Being or waiting to become:
May all be filled with lasting joy. Let no one deceive another, Let no one anywhere despise another, Let no one out of anger or resentment Wish suffering on anyone at all. Just as a mother with her own life Protects her child, her only child, from harm, So within yourself let grow A boundless love for all creatures. Let your love flow outward through the universe, To its height, its depth, its broad extent, A limitless love, without hatred or enmity. Then as you stand or walk, Sit or lie down, As long as you are awake, Strive for this with a one-pointed mind; Your life will bring heaven to earth.

Chapter 4, Verse 35
Chapter 4, Verse 35
"When steady wisdom is yours, Arjuna,
You will never fall back into confusion.
In its light, you will see the entire creation
Within your own Atman
And yourself in me."
Swami Shivananda:
"Krishna is saying to Arjuna in so many words, 'When you make this wisdom
continuous, you will never again be subject to confusion or error. You will
behold the underlying basic unity. You will directly experience through
intuition that all beings from the creator down to a blade of grass exist in your
own Self and also in me.' "
Sri Eknath Easwaran:
"Some people have occasional flashes in which they see the unity within life for a short time. Although they treasure the memory, they customarily fall asleep again, caught once more in the dream of separateness. Just as among dreams there may be a few significant ones which strengthen us inwardly, so too in the waking state we may have an occasional insight into reality to inspire us forward. Waking up permanently into a higher level of consciousness comes as the result of sustained Sadhana and grace. Occasional flashes of unitary experience are indication only of a latent capacity which can be cultivated through the practice of meditation and the accompanying disciplines in order to finally wake up completely one fine day, never to fall asleep again."
Eckart Tolle:
"Who am I then? The awareness prior to thought, the space in which the thought or the emotion or sense-perception happens."
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi:
Re: “In its light, you will see the entire creation within your own Atman and yourself in me”...
“This implies a complete understanding of both the absolute and relative fields, of the relationship between them, and of God presiding over both.”
[How can “the absolute” be presided over? It must not be “absolute” after all, if there is someone or something beyond it. It might be more apt to substitute “non-relative” for “absolute” in the above statement, saving the “absolute” designation for the Supreme Self, the Purushottam, Krishna himself, as in… “…a complete understanding of both the non-relative and relative fields…and of God presiding over both.”]

The Best Time to Meditate!
Sunrise. Sunset. Midnight. Noon. Three in the morning. Three in the afternoon. Right after you wake up. Right before you go to sleep. Later. Now.
There are a lot of great times to meditate, but there's one that sticks out for me as the absolute best time to meditate, especially if you practice Heart Rhythm Meditation: when you don't want to.
The more you don't want to meditate, the more you need to. There's probably something you're hiding from, and your heart knows what it is.
Now, I'm not saying we should all meditate all the time, because we have work to do. We came here to create, to express, to build, to change, to enjoy and to experience all that life has to offer. But I do feel that every day should contain some time spent feeling the beating of your heart, experiencing your breath flowing in and out, feeling your emotions deeply, and connecting with the purpose of your life.
Here’s an idea that will help you get started: place your hand on your heart, and take eleven breaths. That’s it. Just eleven breaths. You can take more, but don’t take less. Even if you breathe very slowly, this exercise won’t take more than a few minutes. You can do it anywhere, driving a car, standing in line, taking the bus, whenever you think of it.
Over time, taking eleven breaths through you heart each day may make you want to spend more time with the incredible feeling of energizing your heart. I encourage you to follow this feeling. But even if eleven breaths is all you ever do, you’ll be making a big impact on your heart and in your life.

Mayan Myth: The Dwarf of Uxmal
Mayan Myth: The Dwarf of Uxmal
Central to the city of Uxmal is the great Pyramid of the Magician. It is an interesting structure that carries with it a more interesting tale. Legend has it that a new king would come to rule the city when a magical "gong" was sounded in the nearby jungle. One day such a sound was heard in the surrounding hills, and a dwarf magician-god named Itzamna appeared in the central city.
(In Mayan religion, Itzamna is considered as a supreme god. He is second only to Hunab Ku, but he is less abstract than Hunab Ku and more representations of him can be found in the archaeological record. Insofar as Mayan religion was moving towards monotheism, Itzamna was considered an aspect of Hunab Ku, not as a separate divine being. As founder of Mayan culture, Itzamna refused to have anything to do with wars, violence, or human sacrifices. He was a god of peace).
The City-King, was not ready to give up the realm to a stranger, ordered the young "God" executed. But unrest among the villagers (nearly 25,000 of them) forced the king to issue the dwarf-boy a challenge. The king agreed the boy could live and become king if he could construct a grand pyramid overnight. Confident he had saved his rulership and kingdom, the Maya lord slept soundly through the night, only to rise the next morning to witness the appearance of a huge pyramid, the Pyramid of the Magician, which the boy apparently had built with magic in a single night. The boy became the king of the city-state, and legend has it that a period of great prosperity followed. An expansive building campaign furthered the size and status of the city, and Uxmal quickly gained a place in Maya history as one of its more magnificent cities.
(the new translation)
The City King is a symbol of the old world powers. The New King . . . or Kingdom is a symbol of all those that are awakening to a unified Christ Consciousness and the one GOD within. The "Gong" is the sound of the music of the spheres that comes from our awakened hearts. Once we (the dwarves), the ones that are considered small and insignificant in this world, awaken and claim our divinity, the Old King (the powers of the old world) will have to let go of the empire to the new kings. The global villagers are the ones demonstrating (this could be the Occupy Wall Street happening right now.) To save his life, the dwarf (all of us) has to create a grand pyramid (a new world) in one day. This grand pyramid is the foundation for our new world. Because the old kings think we are too small and powerless to create a new world, they let their guard down. We are creating a new world while they live in their denial of the light that we carry. In a flash, we can begin a period of great abundance and Harmony!

Numerological Compatability
In the following weeks we will be looking at relationship
compatibility more in depth. However in the meantime you might be
wondering in terms of numbers, just who gets along best with who?
In this newsletter we have created a bit of a summary of each
number, and who is their best bet in terms of a relationship.
Keep in mind that most relationship compatibility study is primarily
based on the Life Path number (the sum of the birthday reduced to a
single digit). The second most important number to look at in
terms of compatibility is the Destiny Number (the sum of the full
name value reduced to a single digit.) Most numerologists consider
at least those two numbers when creating a relationship
compatibility analysis.
Keep in mind as well that most numerologists eliminate the concept of
master numbers when doing relationship compatibility and reduce the
numbers 11 and 22 to their single digit equivalents (2 and 4
respectively.)
Compatibilities for Number 1
Best: 1, 5, 7
Possible: 3, 9
Challenging: 8
Disaster: 2,4,6
Compatibilities for Number 2
Best: 2, 4, 8
Possible: 3, 6
Challenging: 9
Disaster: 1,5,7
Compatibilities for Number 3
Best: 3, 6, 9
Possible: 1, 2, 5
Challenging: (none, relationships are very black and white and
uncompromising for this number)
Disaster: 4, 7,8
Compatibilities for Number 4
Best: 2,4,8
Possible: 6, 7
Challenging: (none)
Disaster: 1, 3, 5, 9
Compatibilities for Number 5
Best: 1, 5, 7
Possible: 3, 9
Challenging: 8
Disaster: 2, 4, 6
Compatibilities for Number 6
Best: 3, 6, 9
Possible: 2, 4, 8
Challenging: (none - not a number that has middle ground)
Disaster: 1, 5, 7
Compatibilities for Number 7
Best: 1, 5, 7
Possible: 4
Challenging: 9
Disaster: 2, 3, 6, 8
Compatibilities for Number 8
Best: 2, 4, 8
Possible: 6
Challenging: , 5
Disaster: 3, 7, 9
Compatibilities for Number 9
Best: 3, 6, 9
Possible: 1, 5
Challenging: 2, 7
Disaster: 4, 8
As you can see some of the numbers have the capacity to get along
with more numbers than others. The hardest number to get along
with is 4, which has more incompatible numbers than the other
numbers.
There are also many numbers (such as 6, 3 and 4) that simply have
no middle ground - if there are challenges in a relationship it is
next to impossible for them to work on them as they have instant
likes and dislikes.
Of course the above is just a brief guide to which numbers get
along with each other. True compatibility studies are much more
complex than this.

A 4th Ray Poem
Welcome, dearest brothers and sisters,
Beloved sons and daughters,
Welcome in the New Time,
Welcome in a New Reality,
Welcome Home to Earth.
Beloved Bringers of Light, How precious it feels
to be this close to you once again.
You are, like you promised, right on time.
Ever since you came to Earth we have waited for this moment,
but don't worry, this is what we agreed and our patience
and time was extremely well spent helping you to get here.
What a joy, beloved Bringers of Peace!
The time is Now, to come home to your heart,
to find the love that is waiting for you there,
to once again reconnect to Self and All,
in unity, oneness and Joy.
The moment has come for you to shine your life
and to feel our embrace once again and for ever,
to be One with everyone and everything again.
Never ever forget that you are the Bringers of Joy.
Our most sincere wish is for you to live in Light and Love,
dancing and bringing life in a creative and joyful existence.
With all our Love we respond to yours,
and for now, to your hearts we will retreat,
as this place, indeed, is our Home on Earth.

Virgo
When you see a photograph of yourself, or hear a recording of your voice, do you ever cringe because you look or sound like that? Well, getting an authentic picture of your spiritual self is even more difficult.
And with what’s headed our way this month, we can be certain of seeing ourselves as we really are.
This week begins the new month of Virgo (Elul). And if you are yourself or know of someone who is a Virgo, you know they have this uncanny ability to see everything that is wrong with a person or situation. They are what you’d call “detail-oriented.”
It’s like when you take your car to the car wash. It might have been really filthy and when you get it back it’s sparkling. But do you see that? No–you start looking for the one crumb that the guy missed. You look for what they didn’t do. Virgos are all about pointing out these crumbs.
This week and for the entire month of Elul, the energy of Virgo is everywhere.
This is a good thing.
I’ll explain. The purpose of seeing what’s wrong with your self is NOT about feeling bad. It’s about showing you what is blocking you from receiving so much more.
In the month of Libra, that follows, our universe will be bathed in the intensely positive energy of fulfillment Rosh Hashanah. Kabbalists teach us that Virgo is a gift—the more you “clean house” this month, the more room there will be to receive this recharging Light in the month of Libra.
So, let the crumb-spotting begin!
First, start taking stock of who you really are. Sure, you are a good person, you volunteer, you share, you use the tools of Kabbalah. But don’t believe your own press. There’s plenty of dirt under ALL of our rugs.
If we consciously, proactively take it upon ourselves to look within, we will have the spiritual support to see our garbage. The process of writing is an effective way to focus our thoughts on what we want to work on. Often, we get stuck in our head and our goals become muddied. Writing will bypass this.
Second, embrace the people who push your buttons.
What is your typical response when someone tells you something you don’t want to hear? Exactly. And why do you snap back or ignore the person? Ego.
This month, try allowing yourself “to take it on the chin” for once, to hear what people have to say without getting busy with nasty comebacks or calculating what is wrong with them.
The rule of thumb is: Listen, thank them for sharing, and let it sit for a few days. Ask the Light to show you whether or not they were right.
Also, be on the look-out for criticisms from people who don’t know you well. It is a spiritual truth that strangers can see your faults the clearest.
Don’t let yourself get depressed about seeing what you have to change. Keep reminding yourself how much more Light will be in your life if you just stick with it! Stay focused on what you want to achieve and know that every time your ego takes a hit, you are one step closer to achieving it.
All the best,
Yehuda

Mother Gaia
Gaia or Gaea, known as Earth or Mother Earth (the Greek common noun for “land” is ge or ga). She was an early earth goddess and it is written that Gaia was born from Chaos, the great void of emptiness within the universe, and with her came Eros. She gave birth to Pontus (the Sea) and Uranus (the Sky). This was achieved parthenogenetically (without male intervention). Other versions say that Gaia had as siblings Tartarus (the lowest part of the earth, below Hades itself) and Eros, and without a mate, gave birth to Uranus (Sky), Ourea (Mountains) and Pontus (Sea).Gaia took as her husband Uranus, who was also her son, and their offspring included the Titans, six sons and six daughters. She gave birth to the Cyclopes and to three monsters that became known as the “Hecatonchires“. The spirits of punishment known as the Erinyes were also offspring of Gaia and Uranus. The Gigantes, finally, were conceived after Uranus had been castrated by his son Cronus, and his blood fell to earth from the open wound.
To protect her children from her husband, (the Cyclopes and the Hecatoncheires, as he was fearful of their great strength), Gaia hid them all within herself. One version says that Uranus was aghast at the sight of his offspring so he hid them away in Tartarus, which are the bowels of the earth. Gaia herself found her offspring uncomfortable and at times painful, when the discomfort became to much to bear she asked her youngest son Cronus to help her. She asked him to castrate Uranus, thus severing the union between the Earth and Sky, and also to prevent more monstrous offspring. To help Cronus achieve his goal Gaia produced an adamantine sickle to serve as the weapon. Cronus hid until Uranus came to lay with Gaia and as Uranus drew near, Cronus struck with the sickle, cutting the genitalia from Uranus. Blood fell from the severed genitals and came in contact with the earth and from that union was born the Erinyes (Furies), the Giants and the Meliae (Nymphs of the manna ash trees).
After the separation of the Earth from the Sky, Gaia gave birth to other offspring, these being fathered by Pontus. Their names were the sea-god Nereus, Thaumas,Phorcys, Ceto and Eurybia. In other versions Gaia had offspring to her brother Tartarus; they were Echidna and Typhon, the later being an enemy of Zeus. Apollokilled Typhon when he took control of the oracle at Delphi, which Gaia originally provided, and then the “Sibyl” sang the oracle in Gaia’s shrine.
It was Gaia who saved Zeus from being swallowed by Cronus, after Zeus had been born, Gaia helped Rhea to wrap a stone in swaddling clothes, this was to trick Cronus in to thinking it was Zeus, because Cronus had been informed that one of his children would depose him, and so to get rid of his children he had swallowed them, Gaia’s trick worked and Zeus was then taken to Crete.
Gaia being the primordial element from which all the gods originated was worshiped throughout Greece, but later she went into decline and was supplanted by other gods. In Roman mythology she was known as Tellus or Terra.

Right Relationship to Self! Dr Robert Anthony
What is the most important relationship in your life? Is it with
your spouse, your partner, your lover, your parents, your friends?
If you answered "yes" to any of these, I would suggest you look
further. The most important relationship in your life is your
relationship with the PRESENT MOMENT. More specifically, whatever
form the present moment takes, that is to say, what is happening or
"what is" right now.
If your relationship with the present moment is dysfunctional, that
dysfunction will be reflected in every relationship and every
situation you encounter. All problems that we experience in life
are simply a dysfunctional relationship with the present moment.
Once you have reached a certain level of awareness (and if you are
reading this, you almost certainly have) you are able to decide
what kind of relationship you want to have with the present moment.
Ask yourself, "Do I want the present moment to be my friend or my
enemy?" The present moment is inseparable from Life so what you are
really deciding is what kind of relationship you want to have with
Life. Once you have decided you want the present moment to be your
friend, it's up to you to make the first move. Become friendly
toward it and welcome it no matter what disguise it may have.
If you do this, you will soon see the results. Life becomes
friendly toward you, people become helpful, and circumstances
cooperate with you. This one decision can change your entire
reality. But you have to make that one decision again and again and
again- until it becomes a new way to live.
Today will bring you a new awareness, a lesson or a manifestation
that you are making progress - IF YOU LOOK FOR IT! No matter how
large or small, please record it in your Evidence Journal. It will
only take a few moments and will AUTOMATICALLY put you in the Flow.

Lesson 40!
I am sustained by the Love of God.
Here is the answer to every problem that will confront you, today and tomorrow and throughout time. In this world, you believe you are sustained by everything but God. Your faith is placed in the most trivial and insane symbols; pills, money, "protective" clothing, influence, prestige, being liked, knowing the "right" people, and an endless list of forms of nothingness that you endow with magical powers.
All these things are your replacements for the Love of God. All these things are cherished to ensure a body identification. They are songs of praise to the ego. Do not put your faith in the worthless. It will not sustain you.
Only the Love of God will protect you in all circumstances. It will lift you out of every trial, and raise you high above all the perceived dangers of this world into a climate of perfect peace and safety. It will transport you into a state of mind that nothing can threaten, nothing can disturb, and where nothing can intrude upon the eternal calm of the Son of God.
Put not your faith in illusions. They will fail you. Put all your faith in the Love of God within you; eternal, changeless and forever unfailing. This is the answer to whatever confronts you today. Through the Love of God within you, you can resolve all seeming difficulties without effort and in sure confidence. Tell yourself this often today. It is a declaration of release from the belief in idols. It is your acknowledgment of the truth about yourself.
For ten minutes, twice today, morning and evening, let the idea for today sink deep into your consciousness. Repeat it, think about it, let related thoughts come to help you recognize its truth, and allow peace to flow over you like a blanket of protection and surety. Let no idle and foolish thoughts enter to disturb the holy mind of the Son of God. Such is the Kingdom of Heaven. Such is the resting place where your Father has placed you forever.
HOW TO DEAL WITH SLEEPINESS DURING MEDITATION
Many of my meditation experiences, especially if they are long, seem to put me almost to sleep. Sometimes I do go to sleep. If they are short, say 5-10 minutes, I don't go to sleep or even get drowsy.
But even if that 'nothing' space is there, I'm sure it is useful, because I used to be so inwardly anxious, and now after about 35 years of practicing various forms of meditating, it takes a great crisis to get me anxious, and even then, not all of me is anxious.
There is a very large part of me that is very calm, strong and stable. People around me can even feel it. Would you please comment on the sleepiness?” -- NDP
This is a great reason to meditate that you’ve expressed here, NDP: to develop that feeling of calmness, strength and stability that is communicated through your atmosphere as a sense of peace.
In this way, meditation can become much more than just a way of healing yourself, though it is a very powerful way of doing that.
There are a few reasons why one might get the feeling of sleepiness that you describe during meditation.
Let’s start with the most obvious: you might not be getting enough sleep. Try to move toward a regular schedule, stay away from caffeine after 2 pm, and move toward calmer activities as the evening progreses.
You may be not be breathing fully enough. When you breathe deeply and fully, but also slowly and silently, as we do in Heart Rhythm Meditation, the feeling of being sleepy evaporates very quickly. If you’re not sure if you’re breathing fully, you’re probably not. Breathing fully takes effort and focus. A good exercise to attain the ability to breathe fully is the Square Breath, described in Living from the Heart by Puran and Susanna Bair.
You may be having an experience that is so deep and profound that a part of your mind resists it, which produces a feeling of being sleepy. More breath is helpful here, too. But this kind of powerful experience doesn’t happen every time you sit down to meditate. So if you are getting this feeling quite often, I’d say look more toward (1) and (2).
Combining the full breath with what you have learned through your many years of practice will really take you to the next level, NDP.
One thing that can really help is the webcourse 101: Introduction to HRM. (Today is the last day to sign up at the early price, saving $50!)

The Cosmic Adjustment Bureau Entering the Fertile Void Messages from Giza and the Sphinx with The Star Elders through Aluna Joy
The following is the FINAL 12th and 13th message that we received in Egypt. You can find our other messages on our website at www.alunajoy.com under the "Articles for Personal and Planetary Transformation" link. It might be a good idea to read them in order as each message builds upon the previous one. We are sharing this message here with you just as we received it, in present time, with very little editing. We do this for a very important reason. We know the messages that we receive are not just for our groups, but are for others as well. The Immortals, Horus, the Hathors, and other Star Masters and the Star Elders assure me that the message and the corresponding energy will be transmitted to you. So as you read this, you might want to imagine that you are with us. Also, always view the photos on the web site that we share, as photos also hold some energy of the sites.
Inside the Kings chamber after about 1 hour of silence and meditation.
Group member and our Maya Guide Enrique shares an opening prayer . . . "Holy Gods and creator, we offer to you our prayers from our hearts, our best intentions, and we have come with honor and respect. I am very grateful for this privilege of being here. This is a great moment being in this sacred site, sharing these moments together. We come from the universe, and we left the seed stones. Moment by moment, we remain determined. We feel connected to you gods and goddesses of this great land. We are now in the core of this great Temple, and we can feel the energy that you offer to us. Thank you great lords and great ladies of this holy Temple for all the teachings, for all the energy and for all the love that you gave us on this pilgrimage, so we can take it to our lands to share with the people that haven't yet had the opportunity to come here. We respect the wisdom that you give to us as well as the abundance, the love and the heart. This is why we are here."
Aluna shares . . . When we arrived here, there were two giant Horus' on top of the pyramid. They were huge! They are holding space for us in this light. When we sat down in the darkness of this temple, I could see waves of light coming in. Waves of light and little sparkle lights. And I asked what this meant. They said they are cracking open the door to the next world. It starts here.
They said the work is done. We have done it. There is nothing else that needs to be done. We just have to live from the heart, moment to moment, and take steps forward. They say that the forward path has gained so much momentum now that there is nothing that can stop this shift. Just like it takes a little candle to light this whole temple, we are the candles of the new world.
Three years ago, when we were here, it felt like we were beginning something. Now, it feels like we are completing it. It is such an entirely different vibration than the last time that I was here. I know that some of you have been here before too, but it feels complete. It feels like we are ready, equipped and prepared. The next step is the leap. They are cracking open the door between this world and the next one. It is coming down from the top of the pyramid all the way down into this chamber. It is a celebratory energy. We are celebrating. We are celebrating Egypt. We are celebrating our own liberation from an old world into a new one.
I can feel Hathors coming in as a grand and loving send off, and it would be nice if we would send them a lot of gratitude, and give them thanks for this journey. They kept us safe, healthy and open to receive. They kept things flowing beautifully, and every site gave us so much that we can't even conceive how we are going to explain this to our friends and family when we get home. So we want to take this moment to thank all the guides, guardians and Angels in this very sacred moment. We want to thank all the Master and Gods that walked with us . . . The Hathors, Goddess Nut, Anubis, Horus . . . and Thoth is here also.
Also to Akhenaton who gave us beautiful energy at the museum yesterday. We thank him for holding the vision of unity in a land that didn't hold that concept. I feel that he has passed this unity baton along to us for us to hold unity for the world ; unity in diversity. I want to thank all the people that were behind the scenes that helped us keep this pilgrimage going so beautifully in such volatile time. And to all the ones that we don't know their names; those who took care of our rooms, our food, who drove our bus, helped us cross the street and all the beautiful people we met. Thanks to all the ones who are celebrating and waved to us when we passed Tahrir square. We are so happy to be here with them celebrating the liberation of humanity.
Also, thanks to the core of all that is, Father SUN and Mother EARTH, Pachamama, Pachakamaq, the Star Elders, the Ascended Masters, all the ones that have walked with us and have been with us in this life. We are so completely and totally grateful for this time, the wisdom and the enlightenment you have helped us obtain.
Now as we enter the door into the new world, it is a door that we have earned collectively. We will never take this time for granted. We cannot conceive what it would be like in the world not to have the wisdom that we carry within us, without the light and the love. We can never take for granted what is to come, because we know how precious it is and how hard we all worked to arrive at this place. We know how hard all the light beings on this planet have worked to get to this place. The Star Elders have been telling me for over 20 years that we will be successful. This is the first day that I have actually felt this happening in my heart. We have arrived. It is something that I knew in my head for years, but today I feel it growing my heart. It feels complete. We have earned our paradise.
So we are thankful, and we feel so much love for our experiences. Experiences we have had together, and experiences we had with each other in other ways. Even the beautiful times we have had in past lives. We know that the cornerstones of these beautiful experiences will come with us, and all that is not the vibration of the immerging new world will stay behind. I think that is why we are starting to feel this deep neutrality inside of us. This feeling that is beyond peace. It is a knowing that we are successful; that we have come to the end of the road, and the door is opening to a new one. What an honor it is to be alive at this time. What an incredible honor that we got to be in bodies at this time, and walked this Earth, and walked the sites again. We have touched them and felt their cornerstones. They are the seed stones . . . the heart of the heart. So, we just want to send our gratefulness to all the guardians at all the sacred sites that we have visited. So . . . I can see our gratefulness and our love going out across the world now. We are thankful.
Outside of this Temple, I am seeing other guardians collecting what we have offered here, and they are now spreading this energy out across the sites we have visited, and the ones yet to be discovered. The seed that we were given during this pilgrimage has copied itself. It has split like a fertile egg. This seed is traveling to all kinds of sacred places all over the Earth. In this chamber, there is nothing in here but us. It is the purest place we could be to split our seeds and send them to other places in the world. With these seeds goes our blessings, our love, our joy and our gratefulness with honor, respect and integrity, as well as all things that we hold dear in our heart. These ideals are going out to the world now.
We left the inner chamber and continued on to work between the paws of the Great Sphinx.
The Sphinx is a watcher. He watches the world. He watches what is going on in the world, and he keeps the record of its history. That is why when people come here, they feel that there is a Hall of Records here, because he has been storing up records for eons. He/she watches and has the eyes to see.
Remember when we kept asking "Just give us the next step, because we are blind, and we can't see what the next thing is because it is beyond our reach." When we walked in between the paws of the Sphinx, I felt this download of energy, and I felt us being called back in like we had already been here. He is a watcher. He is a seer. But the way he is downloaded is by the initiates who come here. And the initiates are uploaded with updates to the human condition and state of evolution. Do you get what I am saying? So what the Sphinx holds is us. We are the energy of the Sphinx. We are the ones that have come here over the eons and offered our memories of what we had experienced and learned. We would download here, so we could keep a complete record of what was going on. Why would we need to do this? When we know what has taken place in the past, and we know where we are now, we can literally project forward to see where we are heading. Then we can make course corrections. Initiates, Masters and I expect even ETs, would come here and make course corrections in Earth's evolution. It is much like the movie "The Adjustment Bureau".
So the Sphinx would collect information we would offer it, and then readjustments to the collective consciousness and evolutionary path would be made. These adjustments would go straight to source, the main 3 pyramids and to the creator of this site, which was not a human being like we are human, and course corrections would be made for the betterment of humanity. This would be done to keep humanity on a healthy course, while at the same time not impinge on anybody's free will. These adjustments were made on deep and subtle level of energetics and frequency; not physicality. They would just adjust the frequency, and then allow humanity to choose if they wanted to work with at frequency or not. So why is the world in such turmoil right now? The world is in such disarray, because, for a time, the initiates forgot to come here and offer their energy and insights. But you can see that this has been changing over that last couple of decades. We are turning this world around. It will take time, but the tides are turning.
So we are the ones that deposited the Hall of Records here. I am sure that you all felt it when you walked in between the paws that there was a definite shift in frequency. It is definitely anchored here, but it was brought here by initiates over many, many ages. And this is a lot older than they could even guess. The Star Elders are saying "The Sphinx has had many facelifts", because it is really, really old.
Group member Neil: Yes, so the information is this going back and forth. What I got was that I was seeing the Sun, and they were taking me into the Sun where it was all about creation. There I saw those four figures at Abu Simbel. You know the creators for the four direction. So today I feel it has come full circle.
Group member Trish: So do you feel Thoth here?
Aluna: I am not getting a name. I am just feeling the presence of the Sphinx itself which is more of a collective of who we are, and it has been built up over time. But there is an actual Sphinx entity that is here, and he/she is watching us now. Also, a strange thing is I feel that there was another Sphinx; a mirror image of this one somewhere in the world.
Group member Trish: There is a blue Sphinx somewhere in the Americas. I don't know where.
Group member Howard: I heard that this is the template that we are making. They said . . . "This is for you to make. I am giving you the template. But it is up to us to create from concentric rings outward. From this center, we are the Bindu point. (In yoga, the word Bindu refers to the stage in meditation where all experiences converge into a point and expand into pure awareness.)
Aluna: That is where the adjustments, that they are talking about, take place. The adjustments are in pure energy. These are adjustments in frequency that we (light workers of the world) are here to make.
When we were in the King's Chamber it was very different . . . Even audibly, it was different. I noticed it immediately when we walked in. Because the first time I was there, any little sound that we made echoed so bad we could not hear it. That was until we sang, and then it became melodious and harmonious. This time I expected the same effect, but it was very different. We could talk to each other. We could HEAR! I thought "Why is this different? Nothing in this chamber has changed." And then I realized that WE have changed. We have come more in harmony with the frequency that is in that chamber, so we can interact with each other and work together.
So when we were told we had arrived, the outer proof of this was that we could talk to each other, and it didn't go into this discordant energy. We have evolved and can now actually merge and work with this chamber by sharing back and forth without the energy going crazy. This is why we feel so complete. I think that we have completed a very big task, and now a new job is ahead of us. We have made some adjustments to the frequency just by being who we are.
So it was perfect that came here immediately after the King's Chamber, so we could anchor the adjustments here. Then the Sphinx sends all the adjustments out into the world and to the other mirror Sphinx.
Group member Kerrie: I received a symbol. This symbol started with a circle, and it moved to the infinity sign, and the circle became an eye. They eye was in the center of the infinity symbol.
Aluna: Oh . . . Thank you Kerrie. You triggered something. The Sphinx has one thing, he would like to do with us, and that is to anchor an infinity symbol inside of us. It is in multiple layers and works like a gyroscope. This will exist between us and the Sphinx from now on. If you are okay with this idea, we can link this. This will also link us to the mirror image Sphinx in South America; or maybe in the Maya lands. I feel it is in some jungle somewhere completely covered up. But we will also become a mirror image Sphinx for this Sphinx in the outside world. We are going to anchor this so we can continue to made adjustments as the world evolves and changes. We will be his eyes to see. We are going to be a part of the Sphinx on the outside. So no matter where we go, we will be able to download things back to here, and receive what has been anchored here back to us.
So if it is Okay with you, they would like to anchor this cosmic infinity inside our seed. The Star Elders popped in and said that it is like a cosmic super highway of information between us and the Sphinx. It is a cosmic high speed internet. We are going to ask that this cosmic infinity circuit be anchored within us, through all time, space, dimension, past, present, future, body, mind, spirit, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, until we decide that we no longer need this connection. We can break it at any time. It is yours to do with as you wish. It has been given to you, because you have the quality of heart and pure intent for creating a new and better world. So when we leave here today, we won't lose our connection to the Sphinx or the King's Chamber.
I am seeing some moving geometry that I can't explain, because it doesn't come from this dimension. It links the Sphinx to the Kings Chamber, and the other pyramids too. It is wired in a way that we don't understand yet. But we will. In the meantime, they are going to keep us connected, so when we go back to the 3D world, we will have this place inside of us. So anytime you want to understand something, or need deeper wisdom about a situation or option, you can come back here. (Aluna points to her heart.)
The wisdom of all the ancients, of all the seers and of all the enlightened ones anchored their energy here along with us. It is a huge library that is not anchored in technology but experience. It will help us be discerning and choose the right decisions. In this new energy, a lot of things will come up that we won't understand, because it is brand new. We will have to pull on wisdom of the collective and the ancients to be able to understand what choices to make. The odd thing is that the information that is here won't tell us what to do. But it will be a frequency that will get us clear, so we will know what to do next. What we are doing next is up to us. What the ancients did is the way they did it. The way we do it now will be different. But the frequency, and the way things are stored here, will help us trigger an understanding of how to operate now, so we don't just repeat what we did in the past. Does that make sense?
So this knowledge is not like a book or something you read. It is a frequency that comes from the hearts of all those that have worked with this place, and it will help trigger a knowingness in us in which we will understand how to work in the present moment. The past is the past, and old rules and laws are changing right before our eyes. Some of the laws of nature that hold this dimension together have begun to shift. So we will run into situations where we will have to pull from a higher place inside of us in order to know how to react to situations. We won't be able to react anymore like we had in the past. Have you noticed how neutral we have become? It almost feels detached. We will have to BE in this space so we don't react. It is a new form of Response-Ability. We need to act, not re-act, in appropriate ways based on the new energies. Just by the mere fact that we came here during a liberation/revolution is a big clue that thing are changing. We had to pass a test before we could take this next step. We passed the test by listening to our hearts, and not our fear. This is why this Sphinx is allowing us to connect in this way . . . and others that follow us that come from the heart . . . and the ones that were here before us. So now we are official members of a cosmic and ancient Adjustment Bureau.

Water Retention
Keeping you from Looking Ripped?
I hear it all the time... "I do so much cardio, and my diet and training are so on point, yet I still have this layer of fat covering my abs! What's the matter with me?" Well... that layer of "muscle-masking mess" that you might assume to be fat, could in fact be primarily "subcutaneous fluid", otherwise known as "water weight".
The body has a natural mechanism for storing water and ions in the body, just as it does for storing excess calories as fat. Ions are basically charged particles which float around in your body, having various functions. You may have heard the term "electrolyte" before. An electrolyte is basically a molecule with a certain electric "charge" in your body, such as potassium (K+), or sodium (Na+), for example.
Take this test: See that skin covering your lower abdominal area? Give it a pinch, pull it, and let it go. If it shakes with a sort of quick "rippled" motion, you are probably carrying a lot of fluid which you were assuming to be fat.
A lot of bodybuilders get very lean, and achieve vascularity in areas such as their arms and legs, yet still cannot get their lower abdominal muscles to appear. This is usually due, not to fat, but to fluid and excess sodium ions being deposited in the lower abdominal region, thereby masking the well-sculpted muscle that lies underneath.
This is why you hear a lot of people saying things such as "I'll never get this thick skin to go away"; when in fact they are misunderstanding a major concept that underlies achieving a truly striated and well-defined look: flushing subcutaneous fluid and excess sodium from underneath the skin.
"But how do I get rid of that excess fluid?" you might ask. I'm going to outline the steps I follow when I have a little extra fluid to lose, so that you also can get rid of that stubborn water weight, and achieve the thin skin, and truly striated look of competitive bodybuilders and fitness models. Before you start to drop water weight though, it is wise to know if you are lean enough to even begin considering it.
If you are above 7 or 8% body fat and you're looking to get extremely lean from water loss, it probably won't happen. But if you can already pretty much see your abdominal muscles, but have thick skin overlying them, and want to thin it out a bit, then these steps should be what you need to achieve the look you desire. Stick with it for a prolonged period of time, and give it a dedicated try. Nothing works overnight.
1) DRINK MORE WATER.
That's right. You've probably heard this one before, and it is definitely true. This is the most important advice I can give, and I cannot stress its importance. Besides flushing out your kidneys and entire digestive system, hydrating your body, and brain, thereby allowing your metabolism to function more effectively, and just making for a nicer skin tone and appearance, drinking more water causes you to release more water through excretion, thereby dropping "water retention".
Aim for 1-2 gallons of water a day, but be sure to take a complete multi-vitamin, as drinking a lot of water causes you to excrete many ions which may result in a deficiency of certain vitamins.
2) SWEAT, SWEAT, SWEAT...
Sweating is a way of "evaporative cooling", a mechanism by which the body regulates its temperature. If you are sweating, it means your metabolism is probably in high gear, since a higher metabolism equals a higher resting body temperature for the most part. Also, water retention is not simply "water", but sodium ions trapped underneath the skin. This is why your sweat tastes salty. A trick I use is to sit in the sauna, and keep drinking water. In the beginning, your sweat will taste salty, telling you that you are retaining sodium.
After a while, your sweat will begin to taste like water. This tells you that you have sweat most of the sodium out that was being retained underneath your skin, which means you have lost a good portion of muscle-masking fluid. Once again, whenever sitting in a sauna, be sure to have water handy, and be sure to supplement with a vitamin, as you sweat out many of your essential vitamins.
3) POSE, POSE, POSE...
A lot of people don't like to sit in front of the mirror and squeeze their muscles, but I have found this to be one of the most important factors in truly achieving great detail deep within the muscle bellies. Besides causing you to sweat out subcutaneous fluid, posing allows you to gain greater control of your muscles. Try to flex just your posterior deltoid muscle, or just one muscle of your quadriceps.
It is a good method of practice for establishing a mind-muscle connection which will both enhance definition while posing, and allow you to better control your muscles during resistance training. The more you pose, and keep your sodium and water level low, the more cuts you will begin to see in your muscles over time, providing that your diet is on point as well.
4) DON'T GORGE ON THE SALT!
That's correct, eating foods such as french fries, potato chips, and various other foods loaded with unnecessary amounts of sodium, will cause you to retain water. The body only needs between 2000-2500mg of sodium a day to complete its metabolic functions.
If you go way over that mark, you are indulging in a mineral which the American population has been using in excess for quite some time now, creating many health problems and concerns. Keep your sodium moderate, and replace excess salt with spices such as garlic, ginger, fresh vegetables, black pepper, chives, cilantro, Ms. Dash, hot sauce, or anything else your taste buds desire.
5) FIBER, FIBER, FIBER...
Most Americans, and even more surprisingly, most "bodybuilders", do not consume adequate amounts of fiber in their diet. Similar to water, which cleanses the urinary tract and kidneys, fiber cleanses the colon/intestinal tract, keeping things moving smoothly, and mores, aiding in the removal of excess fluid. In the morning, if I find that I need to drop some fluid, I will take 2 tablespoons of Psyllium Husk Orange Natural Colon Cleanser, mixed with water.
During my meals, I include fresh vegetables, and I steam the ones I cook very lightly or eat them raw with Balsamic Vinegar and/or garlic powder to make sure I don't boil out all of their nutrients. I also include fresh fruits such as blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries, all of which have plenty of fiber and many antioxidants which help prevent against cancer and other ailments. When in doubt, berries are a great way to go.
6) DANDELION ROOT & BLACK COFFEE OR TEA!
I have found the natural herb dandelion root to be a good naturally occurring diuretic, when taken in conjunction with the previous methods I have outlined. Always make sure to drink PLENTY of water and watch your sodium levels, otherwise you will be wasting your time. Coffee and tea are naturally occurring diuretics as well, although some people might not like the jittery feeling caused by stimulants.
7) TAN, TAN, TAN...
Tanning helps to tighten up the skin, and drop excess fluid through sweating as well. Always use some sort of SPF level, and make sure to consume antioxidants (such as berries), on a frequent basis to fight off free radicals which can be carcinogenic (cancer causing).
8) GIVE PREPARATION-H A TRY!
If you've followed all of my previous steps, but still find that you are retaining a little more fluid than you'd like, I've found that rubbing preparation-H on my stomach before doing cardio, and/or tanning helps me to drop excess fluid from stubborn areas.
Once again, this won't work if you aren't already lean, or if you are slacking on your diet and/or consuming too much sodium. But if all of the above are in control, then this might just be the little spark to ignite the rest of that water releasing fire. Think about it...this stuff is used to shrink fluid out of swollen hemorrhoidal tissue. It's worked for me, but once again it takes time.
So these are the steps you should take in order to achieve the ripped look you desire, minus the water-retention. As always, the first step to achieving that balanced physique is a proper nutritional and training regimen. If those are in check, and you find that you are 1 or 2 steps away from dropping that last bit of water, then this should be all you need to get to where you desire.
Here's to perfection!
